ABOUT US

Hi I’m Julie owner and operator of Paws Rus, a professionally trained dog grooming service. Now operating in Tauranga and nearby suburbs .

With over twenty five years experience working with animals I am a Certified Professional Dog Groomer with the International Professional Groomers association (IPG).

I have completed a Diploma in Dog Grooming and trained in the UK.

I have an up to date Pet first aid certificate and I’m a certified salon professional.

Member of the ICMG UK and IPG.

The IPG follows a strict code of ethics in regards to quality and pet welfare which I proudly adhere to.

My love of animals goes back to when I was small and now I live on our lifestyle block with a whole team of animals, children and hubby.

All the equipment used in my mobile salon is the same as any salon including a hydrobath for the cleanest wash possible.

What is a hydrobath?

It’s a specially designed pet bathtub and power bather which produces a high volume mix of warm fresh water and shampoo. It is powerful enough to penetrate the thickest coats, but gentle enough to massage the skin and muscles. The spray head produces a unique hydro-combing action that massages and stimulates the skin, so not only is it the most effective way of washing your dog but also provides a therapeutic water massage.

Shampoos / Conditioners

Quality range of proven top quality products are only used on your dog. A range of shampoos/conditioners and treatments are available and they are selected depending on what the dogs coat needs to best enhance the coat. The environment is very important to me and so my products are environmentally friendly.
